She/her

As a counselor, I bring a holistic, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to our work together. I value your unique gifts and experiences, and I am here to support you through your challenges, your goals, and your natural capacity for healing.

Working from a feminist and existential lens, I am attentive to the cultural narratives and power dynamics that influence self-worth and identity, and the systems-level challenges that leave us feeling anxious about the political and ecological changes in our world. I strive to help clients find agency and empowerment within the circumstances of their lives.

As a second-career counselor, I am informed by my professional background as a theater artist, yoga teacher, and entrepreneur, as well as my clinical training and interests.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Lewis and Clark College, and have additional training in ecotherapy, creative interventions, working with trans and non-binary clients, and supporting adult/late-diagnosed ADHD and Autism, particularly in female and AFAB folks. As the mother of two school-aged children, I am a passionate advocate for the well-being of parents, caregivers and family systems.

I utilize interventions from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Narrative therapy, IFS, CBT, Ecotherapy (including walk and talk therapy), and Somatic approaches informed by my 25-year practice as a student and teacher of Yoga and Eastern Philosophy.

Outside of work, I enjoy adventures with my family, playing my ukulele, getting outside in all kinds of weather, and creative self-expression in its many forms.

I see adults as well as children ages 10+ and teens. In-person sessions available Mondays and Thursdays at the Tigard office, telehealth available Wednesdays and Fridays.

As I am still working towards licensure. I am being supervised by Misty Bottorff, LCSW.
