Andrew Harms, MSW, CSWAHe/him

When it comes to breaking cycles or managing life’s challenges, it can be hard to know where to start. I seek to provide a supportive, collaborative space for you to move forward and make changes.

As a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) in the state of Oregon with professional experience in nature-based mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, and school-based therapy, I provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. This practice recognizes the ways individuals adapt to complex environments, systems, and histories. I believe in the innate wisdom of each person and approach our work together with deep respect for your values, identities, and life experiences.

My practice philosophy is rooted in relational, somatic, and systemic frameworks. I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful space for healing and change—one that honors safety, authenticity, and collaboration. Together, I hope to assist in your goals for seeking therapy, whether that be processing life difficulties, gaining self-understanding, or feeling less stuck.

I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all identities, backgrounds, and walks of life. My personal journey is shaped by my relationship with nature, contemplative spiritual traditions, and ongoing practices of self-inquiry. This informs how I engage with clients: with humility, curiosity, and compassion.

In addition to my work, I find grounding and inspiration in the outdoors. I enjoy surfing, trail running, making stained glass art, playing guitar, and spending time with my dog.

As I am still working towards licensure, I am being supervised by Mohini Bolkhovitinov, LCSW.

In-person and teletherapy. I work with ages 10 and up.
